We are a family-owned and operated heating and cooling company operating in Calgary since 2004. We have supplied, installed, and repaired thousands of furnaces and air conditioners since our establishment. Our main workforce consists of 3 Journeyman HVAC mechanics.
The owner Dan Douglas worked with his father (Dan Douglas Sr) right from the company's start in 2004 and has since become a journeyman sheet metal mechanic, class B gasfitter and a refrigeration mechanic.
After working with Dan Sr for 16 years he started managing the day-to-day operations in 2020 and took ownership of the company in the summer of 2022. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer relationships built on trust are the focus now and into the future.
Dan Sr started the company in 2004 after spending over 20 years in the industry. At the time he had journeyman certificates as a sheet metal mechanic, class A gasfitter and refrigeration. He wanted to start his own company so he would have the ability to deliver a higher level of quality workmanship and build customer relationships in a way he was not able to when working for someone else. He continues working and is helping to train and guide the next generation of HVAC mechanics with DR Heat & Air Ltd.
Cory is a sheet metal mechanic expert journeyman and has been with DR Heat & Air since 2006. His attention to detail and incredibly high standard allows him to deliver excellent installations and services for customers.
Brandon started his HVAC career with us in 2021 and is already a registered 3rd year apprentice sheet metal mechanic. He has excelled throughout the apprenticeship and is on track to be a qualified journeyman in 2 years. We currently have the pleasure of training 3 new apprentices.

We care about the environment and make every effort to keep our environmental footprint low. We install our equipment in a manner so it may operate at peak efficiency for its entire life cycle. We recycle as much material as possible.
